The first band that comes to mind when I hear 'metalcore' is the name Botch. Why? Because they are one band that is clearly metalcore. Without Botch, as said on the main Botch page, many bands would not be around, or would not be the same. Botch had a large impact in music from their span of 9 short years. This Tacoma metalcore/mathcore quaret is not a force to be underestimated. Talk about controversial cover art, eh? I believe that they mean We Are The Romans is a comparison of how America is doomed to fall like the Roman empire.
